I’ve just completed two sister paintings. This one and another, which I will keep back for an upcoming winter exhibition.

Pinks were requested for this little commemorative painting. If you look closely her brothers’ names are added in the left panel. This felt very special to do. I wanted to get it right. A photograph of a pink rose was sent, her pink rose and it seemed to guide me. Angels wings were requested also. I loved doing it. It’s a privilege to be asked to work on something like this. I think they loved it!

‘Deep Peace’ photographed in my dark studio this morning! This was commissioned by a lady who wanted this prayer done very simply. It is in inks and 24 carat gold on fabriano paper.

For Brian and Veronica – married in Chester just before lockdown.
Veronica sent me some beautiful photographs of their wedding, which included purple Veronica flowers and cream tulips and wondered if I could find a place for the dates of meeting, proposal and wedding. Brian requested blue. It still needs a tiny bit of work around the mount and then I will post it.
